Save recipes from anywhere

Paste a link from any recipe site, Instagram or TikTok, or share a photo, screenshot or PDF, and the recipe lands in your cookbook.

Plan from your own recipes

Ask for this week’s dinners and the assistant picks from the recipes you saved, avoiding your allergies and what you cooked recently.

Build the grocery list

Add a recipe’s ingredients, scaled and minus what you already have, sorted into aisles like the app.

Shop and adjust

Check items off, move meals between days, or note a takeout night. Changes appear in the Minichef app.

Questions

What can the assistant see?
Your saved recipes, meal plan, grocery list, cooking history and food preferences: diet, allergies, disliked ingredients, household and notes. It never receives your age, height, weight or gender.
What can it change?
It can save and edit recipes, rate or archive them, plan meals, change your grocery list and update your food preferences. Archived recipes stay restorable in the app under Settings → Archived recipes.
Do I need Minichef Pro?
No. Saving from recipe websites, photos and PDFs, planning and the grocery list are free. Instagram and TikTok imports use Smart Imports: every account gets 3 free, then Minichef Pro adds more.
Do I need the app?
No. Signing in with Apple or Google when you connect creates a free Minichef account. Your recipes, meal plan and grocery list are waiting in the free iPhone and iPad app when you sign in there with the same account, with Cook Mode, timers and an aisle-sorted list.
Which account do I sign in with?
If you already use Minichef, the Apple or Google account you use in the app. Guest accounts in the app need to sign in with Apple or Google there first.
How do I disconnect?
Visit minichef.me/account/assistants and choose Disconnect. You can also remove the connector in your assistant’s settings.
