How to Save Recipes from Notion
Stop building complicated Notion databases. Easily move your recipes from Notion into Minichef.
Notion is incredibly powerful, but building and maintaining a custom recipe database takes a lot of time and effort. Minichef is purpose-built for cooking, requiring zero setup.
How it works
You can quickly send your Notion recipe pages directly to Minichef.
- Open the recipe page in your Notion app.
- Tap the Share button (usually top right).
- If there is a “Share via…” or system share menu option, choose that, then select Minichef.
- Minichef will parse the Notion page and extract the recipe data.
Alternatively, you can just take a screenshot of the Notion page and share that to Minichef!
Troubleshooting
“Minichef only imported the title, not the content.” Depending on your Notion privacy settings, the share link might not be publicly readable by Minichef’s servers. The easiest workaround is to simply take a screenshot of the recipe in Notion and share the screenshot with Minichef.
