How to Save Recipes from Pinterest
Ditch the broken links and endless scrolling blogs. Instantly save the actual recipe from any Pinterest pin to Minichef.
Pinterest is the ultimate recipe inspiration board, but actually cooking from it is terrible. You click a pin, get taken to a blog, scroll past 30 photos and a life story, just to find the ingredient list.
With Minichef, you can skip the blog entirely.
How it works
Minichef grabs the link from the pin and uses AI to instantly find and extract the actual recipe, ignoring the fluff.
- Open a recipe Pin on Pinterest.
- Tap the Share button (usually an arrow icon or three dots).
- Select Minichef from the list of apps.
- Minichef does the rest, extracting the ingredients and instructions instantly.
Troubleshooting
“It says the link isn’t a recipe.” If the pin links to a dead website, a generic homepage, or an image file without text, Minichef can’t extract a recipe. Try taking a screenshot of the pin instead and using our image import feature!
“I just want to save the picture, not the link.” You can save the image from Pinterest to your camera roll, and then share that image directly into Minichef.
