How to Save NYT Cooking Recipes
Save New York Times Cooking recipes to your personal collection with Minichef.
NYT Cooking has some of the best recipes in the world, but if you want to keep all your recipes (from the Times, random blogs, and family cookbooks) in one single place, Minichef is the answer.
How it works
You can easily save NYT recipes directly into your Minichef box.
- Open the recipe in the NYT Cooking app or website.
- Tap the Share button.
- Select Minichef.
- Minichef will organize the ingredients and instructions into a clean format.
Note: You must have an active NYT Cooking subscription or be logged in if the recipe is behind a paywall, otherwise Minichef’s servers won’t be able to access the text.
Troubleshooting
“Minichef only imported the title because of the paywall.” If Minichef gets blocked by the NYT login screen, the easiest workaround is to simply take a “Full Page” screenshot of the recipe on your phone, and then share the screenshot to Minichef!
